Dan has also done freelance work for large companies to help define their ethical approach to the development of emerging technologies (e.g., drones, artificial intelligence/machine learning, blockchain, etc.).

Dan earned a B.S. in Systems Engineering from the University of Virginia and an MBA from UCLA Anderson. He is a certified Part 107 FAA Remote Pilot and has had a passion for drones since completing his undergraduate thesis on introducing UAS into the National Airspace (NAS), owning 14 consumer drones since 2012, and producing drone photography. Outside the office, he enjoys water and snow sports, golfing, and historical fiction.

  • Led the program management for a 140-person team to build the world’s most advanced stadium, focused on enabling digital solutions to revolutionize the fan experience; key tasks included serving as the Agile Scrum of Scrums, owning the development roadmap, procuring software from ~40 vendors, building and maintaining a $40MM business model, and consistently presenting to the CTO.

  • Analyzed a top internet company’s product roadmap to find innovative features that would fill gaps to surpass competitors’ offerings; benchmarked over 70 features across 6 companies and built the strategy for the next 3 years.

  • Structured and deployed a rigorous financial model and business case framework to evaluate the deployment of ~$100MM across the client’s Innovation Center’s organic growth opportunities.

  • Performed requirements gathering, developed design specs, and created cross-functional launch plan to optimize 300+ global sales representatives’ ability to service advertisers.

  • Enhanced a Machine Learning recommendations engine by interviewing 20+ reps and analyzing feedback to produce insights for model correction, producing ~30% time reduction in sales reps’ analysis.

  • Aggregated 1,300 bank processes into the client’s first ever business process inventory; findings leveraged to optimize process execution, drive regulatory compliance and enhance customer experience.
